FINDAR® - Locate buried evidence

Overview

FINDAR® uses ground penetrating radar (GPR) technology to enable law enforcement to quickly and effectively search for evidence buried under the ground.

The advantage of GPR compared to other commonly-used subsurface search technologies, such as metal detectors, is its ability to detect both metallic and non-metallic objects. FINDAR can locate:

• Clandestine graves
• Drugs or money buried in metal or plastic containers
• Buried weapons and ammunition stashes

Display Unit Carrying Case This Pelican case provides the DVL 500 with the ultimate protection during transport to/from investigation sites. High-density foam lines the interior of the case to guard against damage from shock or impact.
GPS TopCon GPS Package – provides cable and mount to connect the TopCon SGR-1 GPS to the FINDAR system, enabling Map View functionality on the Display Unit and geo-referenced data collection. GPS cable connected to the FINDAR Display Unit provides power from the system battery to the GPS.
